About the Event

Jonathan Norwich of CT Wine Review and now newly appointed sales rep for Winebow, walks us through a series of wines from his new portfolio to test our 5 S's skills as wine tasters.

Blind Tasting is one of the more fun ways to approach wine education. Whether you are a wine enthusiast or a certified Master Sommelier, we all start in the same place: blind! Start with sight, move on to scent and finish with a taste, and before you know it, you will be able to distinguish a Sauvignon Blanc from Chile and one from Sancerre.

We won’t blindfold you, but we will pour the wines “blind”—meaning you won’t be told what you’re tasting at first. Hone your deductive tasting skills and learn how to tell the difference between grapes varietals. Perfect for: those in the trade and sommeliers, or consumers interested in learning this skill.
