Cru Class: Schramsberg Vineyards
You wanted another sparkling wine class for the holidays and Geoff Troup rises to the occasion with not just any sparkling wine. Geoff's coming with Schramsberg!
Time & Location
Dec 13, 2018, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Wine 101, 1220 Whitney Ave c, Hamden, CT 06517, USA
About the Event
For over 50 years, Schramsberg Vineyards has been committed to crafting extraordinary sparkling wines. Living and working on the Napa Valley Diamond Mountain property, the Davies family and Schramsberg team have focused on creating wines that reflect the passion and experience of the people behind each bottle.
The use of the term "Champagne" gets thrown around a lot when speaking of sparkling wines. We all know the rule, only Champagne comes from Champagne, but when you taste something as fine, precise and delicate as a glass of Schramsberg you would be hard pressed to distinguish between the two.
During this Cru Class, Geoff Troup will lead the tasting focusing on how Méthode Traditionelle style sparkling wines can achieve Champagne-esque quality and style when in the hands of the right wine making team.
*$30 per person includes the tasting/class, cheese and crackers to accompany the tasting.
Classroom size is limited to only 10 people for more in-depth discussion, so please RSVP early.
You must purchase your tickets early online through our website.
Facebook "Likes" or responses will not be accepted as an RSVP.
