About the Event
During this edition of Cru Class we are happy to have guest speaker/presenter Juan Carlos Rodriguez from Bodegas Olarra lead the class through a selection of wines from Rioja and Rias Baixas. Often compared to Bordeaux, Rioja wines have great aging potential while transforming gracefully over the years. JC will taste us through a selection of aged Rioja from his portfolio. In addition, we will compare one of my favorite Albarino against it's barrel aged counterpart. When we think of Albarino, we think light and zippy. This may change your mind as to what that varietal an achieve.
$30 per person includes the wine tasting/class, light cheese and crackers as accompaniments.
Classroom size is limited to 10 people.
