About the Event
Greece is a country with an ancient winemaking history quite distinct from the rest of Western Europe. The country’s collection of indigenous (often hard to pronounce) grapes, longstanding wine traditions coupled with recent modernizations makes it one of the world’s most dynamic wine-producing countries.
In this class, we’ll explore the country’s traditional wine styles, distinctive grape varieties, defining climate and topography . . . and probably spend a little time wishing we were sipping wine on a beach in Santorini.
From Assyrtiko to Xinomarvro, learn about these ancient wines with Sommelier Janine Sacco, as she weaves the history and future together in this in-depth and in-person wine class.
The absolute last day to sign up will be Sunday, May 8th, but PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST POSSIBLE DAY!!!
