Wine 201: Domaine LaFage

One of the most sought-after winemakers of Europe at the moment, Jean-Marc lends his expertise with Southern European varietals to several top estates in both France and Spain and also in South America. However, his best work is perhaps at home at his estate in the hills of the Roussillon with his wife, also an accomplished winemaker. They grow primarily Grenache (Blanc, Gris & Noir), Syrah, Mourvedre, Carignan, Marsanne, Roussanne and Chardonnay, with a significant portion of the vines well over 50 years old. During this class we will explore several wines from Domaine LaFage with Jonathan Norwich from Winebow and gain a better understanding of the terroir of the LANGUEDOC-ROUSSILLON of France.

$30 per person includes your class, light cheese, and crackers to accompany the tasting and $15 gift certificate to purchase wines after the class.

This is a wine appreciation class to further educate your palate by tasting a variety of wines in a professional manner.

Classroom size is limited to only 10 people to encourage more in-depth discussion and analysis, so please RSVP early.
