A blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo sourced from Campo de Borja region in Spain. Aged for 3 months in American oak then finished off in bottle for an additional 9 months ot a year. Dark ruby red in color. Dark berry fruit smothered in black pepper spice on the nose. The wine needs some breathing room to flex it's muscle. On first sip you get the oak dancing with tobacco and asphalt. Once it's allowed to open up the dark fruit comes out along with hints of baking spice. Long finish with medium tannin structure and medium acidity. This wine is supoer versatile with many foods, but will shine like a diamond with grilled meats, burgers, pizza, herb foccacia.
