Les Trous Pecheurs is an "un-oaked" style chardonnay from southern Burgundy in the village of St. Veran. The character is more complex than a simple Macon-Village. The nose and palate display crisp lemon chiffon notes with a solid backing of minerals. A perfect dinner match would be grilled or roasted herbed lemon chicken or fish.
