Three Shades of Sancerre with Mary & Bill from Drinkable Arts Importing

Like 50 Shades of Grey with less leather and more naughtiness. What happens during quarantine in your home...well, we'll never tell. Drinkable Arts is a small local family wine distributor/importing company by the daughter & Father team of Mary & Bill Chegwidden. They seek out other small family-owned vineyards/wineries in France to represent here in CT who otherwise would fall under the radar with bigger companies. Sancerre built its reputation on producing white wines from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. But, while the white wines may represent some of the finest that France has to offer, we're going to look at Sancerre in a different light by focusing on its red and rosé wine too! Around 25% of the AOC region of Sancerre is planted with the red Pinot Noir grape which in turn is also used to create their Rose
